Mark A. Dorfman Promoted to Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary for DRS Technologies, Inc.

DRS Technologies, Inc., announced today that
it has promoted Mark A. Dorfman to the position of Senior Vice President,
General Counsel and Secretary

Joining DRS Technologies in 2005, Mr. Dorfman served as Vice President,
Corporate Counsel. In this role, he had been entrusted with increasing
levels of responsibility, regularly advising DRS’ management team on key
legal and business matters. “Mark had demonstrated an ability to
successfully tackle tough challenges and has proven himself to be someone I
can rely upon and has my full support and confidence as he takes on this
new role,” said Mark S. Newman, chairman and chief executive officer of DRS
Technologies. Mr. Dorfman is succeeding Nina L. Dunn, who is leaving DRS to
assume a senior executive position with Finmeccanica S.p.A.

Before joining DRS, Mr. Dorfman was an attorney in private practice. His
responsibilities included representation of corporate clients in connection
with mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, public and private securities
offerings and other complex business transactions.
